Florida flowers: Wrightia antidysenterica

Luckily this beautiful Florida flower has several common names that are quite lovely and much easier to say. The one I like is Snowflake.

Milky Way is a good one too as it seems to have a twisty thing going on with its petals. In the Philippines it’s know as White Angel. It’s also been called Arctic Snow and Asian Snow, as it is well-known in India and South Asia.

The leaves caught my eye as well — they seem quite dramatic as they are large with very pronounced veins.
