1,000 followers and award nominations

I don’t often think about exactly how many people are following me. I merely like having interesting people to interact with here in the blogosphere. However, I did recently hit a benchmark of 1,000 followers. This seems quite significant and I just wanted to send out a big thank you to all of you who read, follow, like and comment on my blog posts. I appreciate it so much!

I’ve never had very many friends in my life. In real life I’m pretty terrible at socialization, even though I’ve gotten a lot better at it over the years. This blog has helped me connect with other people who have similar interests to mine. It’s also helped me focus my rambling thoughts and form a purpose. For that I’m immensely grateful to all my readers and fellow bloggers for their vital and welcomed existence.
